The Galaxy Wearable app is now receiving a new 2.2.17.26020951 update powered by the One UI 8.5 software version. It brings support for the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 & Buds 4 Pro earbuds. Samsung has begun pushing the update to select regions, with a wider rollout expected soon. Further, the new version comes with an enhanced security-related Smart Switch.
With the new version, Samsung has ended app support for two Galaxy fitness trackers – Galaxy Fit & Galaxy Fit e. Both fitness trackers were launched in 2019 with features like heart rate, sleep, over 30 workout modes, 20 days of battery, and other essential health functions.

Now moving to the future, according to the shared changelog, Galaxy Wearable is ready to recognize two new earbuds in its support system. The next Galaxy Buds 4 & Buds 4 Pro will be launched on February 25, along with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
As with most Samsung rollouts, the update is being released in stages. Users who haven’t received a notification yet can manually check by going to the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store on their Galaxy smartphone.
