Samsung has started releasing the March 2026 security update for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Galaxy Buds 3, and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds. The new firmware is designed to stabilize sound operation, improve Bluetooth connection, and address vulnerabilities found in previous software versions. After the launch of Galaxy Buds 4 Pro along with Galaxy S26 Ultra, this is the first software update for the previous Galaxy Buds series.

The latest March 2026 firmware version for Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is R510XXU0AZC4, and it is 6.11MB in size. The firmware for Galaxy Buds 3 is R530XXU0AZC3, and it is 7.11MB in size. Lastly, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro received firmware version R630XXU0AZC3, and it is 8.28MB in size.

Improves Bluetooth Connection & Sound Operation

The changelog for all these Galaxy earbuds mentions that the company has addressed Bluetooth connection issues to stabilize it in different scenarios. Further, Samsung has enhanced the sound quality of the earbuds, so users may see improvements in this area. Apart from that, it includes known bug fixes and provides system stability.

The latest March 2026 update for Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Buds 3, and Buds 3 Pro is now rolling out in South Korea. It will soon reach other regions in the next few days, depending on the country. Galaxy Buds users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Buds Software Update in the Galaxy Wearable app.
