Samsung is quietly working on bringing Apple AirDrop support to more Galaxy devices, including mid-range Galaxy A phones. The feature has now been spotted in testing, hinting at a wider rollout soon. After the Galaxy S26 series, the feature was confirmed for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S25, Fold 7, and Flip 7 devices, which are currently running on the One UI 8.5 beta.
Will Samsung Bring AirDrop Support for Galaxy A Series
Now, Samsung wants to extend Apple AirDrop support to older flagships and mid-range Galaxy A series phones. According to multiple user reports on forums and early testing findings, Quick Share has been confirmed for these Galaxy A series phones.

Furthermore, users of the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A37, and Galaxy A57 will also get the feature in the next One UI update. The Galaxy A37 & A57 are already running on the new version, so they might receive it in future updates.
Apple AirDrop Support for More Galaxy Devices
The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, Fold 3, Fold 4, Fold 5, Fold 6, Flip 3, Flip 4, Flip 5, and Flip 6 series are also going to get AirDrop support via the Quick Share app. Samsung is now testing the One UI 8.5 version for these older models. Along with all these phones, we can expect more devices to get the new settings.
To use the Apple AirDrop feature on Galaxy phones, users should upgrade to the One UI 8.5 version and run the latest Quick Share app version on their phones.
