The new leak shows that with the One UI 9 version, Samsung is going to change the design of its Now Brief function. We also have the first look at the upcoming Tap to Share feature, which will debut in the next software update. One UI 9 Tap to Share & Now Brief First Look
The new Tap to Share function has been added to the Quick Share settings. Users can activate it from Settings, similar to how we enable the Share with Apple Devices function. It will allow users to share contacts and files more conveniently with just one tap. The leaked images show exactly how users can send or receive files using the Tap to Share function.

Along with the new function, existing ones like Now Brief may also see a redesign. According to early sources, Samsung is heavily working on a redesigned interface with the next Android 17-based One UI 9 update. The Now Brief feature is set to display brighter colors by combining different shades. Samsung is expected to release the next software with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
