According to a new source on Twitter/X, Samsung will release the One UI 8.5 stable version for the Galaxy S25 series on April 30 in South Korea. Furthermore, the global rollout will begin on May 4 in major countries. A well-known tipster on Twitter, Tarun Vats, has revealed the release date and also mentioned that this follows the same pattern Samsung used last year. This means that after the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung could release the One UI 8.5 stable update for other Galaxy devices in May.
Stable One UI 8.5 Update for Galaxy S25
The Galaxy S25 series is still in the beta testing phase, and the same source has also mentioned that these phones will receive two more beta updates. The 9th beta version is expected to launch this week, while the 10th and final beta is expected in the second half of this month.
Samsung has recently confirmed that it will try to bring most of the major features of the Galaxy S26 to older models, including camera and Galaxy AI features.

While Samsung is working on the stable update, it will also begin a beta program for a few more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy A36.
This year, many Galaxy users are confused about the availability of new features on older models. We can expect the official One UI 8.5 timeline and release date to be announced in the next few weeks.
