Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 8 Design Revealed in New Leak

Galaxy Z Flip 8 Design Leaked

Samsung is expected to introduce its next foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, around July this year. While earlier leaks revealed details about the Fold 8 and Wide Fold devices, a fresh report now gives us the first clear look at the Galaxy Z Flip 8 design. According to popular tipster Steve H. McFly (OnLeaks), in collaboration with My Mobiles, newly leaked renders showcase what appears to be the final design of the Galaxy Z Flip 8.

First Look at Galaxy Z Flip 8 Leaked

The images suggest that Samsung is sticking with a familiar clamshell design, featuring only minor refinements compared to its predecessor. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 reportedly features a 6.9-inch main foldable display along with a larger 4.1-inch outer cover screen. This indicates that Samsung is continuing to improve usability on the cover display, allowing users to perform more tasks without unfolding the device.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 Dimension Change

In terms of dimensions, the phone is said to measure 85.4 x 75.4 x 13.2 mm when folded and 166.8 x 75.4 x 6.6 mm when unfolded. These numbers suggest that the device will be slightly larger overall than last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 7, with small increases in height, width, and thickness.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 Features Leaked

Despite the size changes, the design remains largely unchanged. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 looks almost identical to its predecessor, maintaining the same dual-camera layout. However, an interesting detail is that while the phone is slightly thicker when unfolded, it is expected to be thinner when folded compared to the previous generation.

The leaked renders also confirm that Samsung will continue using a dual rear camera setup on the Flip series. While camera specifications have not yet been revealed, improvements are expected as Samsung continues to refine its foldable lineup.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Wide Fold, is reportedly debuting on July 22. These devices are likely to run on One UI 9 software, which Samsung is working on internally for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Recent sightings hint that these devices will receive Scam Detection and other Galaxy AI features. With more leaks likely to surface in the coming weeks, additional details about performance, cameras, and software features should emerge soon.
