Samsung is rolling out a new February 2026 software update for the Galaxy A54, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy A56, focusing on security improvements and overall system stability. The update is currently reaching users in India and South Korea. The Galaxy A54 comes with firmware version A546EKSSIEZB7, the Galaxy A55 comes with version A556SKSS6CZB2, and the Galaxy A56 comes with version A566SKSS5BZB6.
What’s New in the February Patch
The firmware integrates the latest Android security patch and addresses several known vulnerabilities, including 37 vulnerabilities spotted in the recent January patch. While Samsung has not shared a detailed changelog, users may notice minor performance improvements after installing the update.

Eligible for One UI 8.5 Software
All these Galaxy A series smartphones, including the Galaxy A53, are eligible to receive the major One UI 8.5 software update that Samsung launched at the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy Buds 4 series launch event. The official rollout for the Galaxy S25 series and other devices is expected to start later this month.
How to Install
The update is being released gradually, meaning some users may receive it earlier than others. Galaxy A54, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy A56 owners can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
