Galaxy M14 February Update

Samsung is rolling out a new February 2026 firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy M14 and Galaxy M16 smartphones in India, bringing stability improvements and the latest security enhancements. The new firmware version M146BXXSCDZB5 has been released for the Galaxy M14 with a 235MB file size, while the Galaxy M16 receives firmware version M166PXXS5CZB4 with a file size of nearly 255MB.

The changelog only mentions enhancements to privacy protection and security stabilization. The February 2026 security patch addresses 37 vulnerabilities from the previous code, so users may notice an improved UI experience.

Both devices are also on Samsung’s radar to receive the next One UI 8.5 software version, which may arrive soon. Samsung is currently running a beta testing program for its flagship models, so it will likely take some time before the stable version reaches this affordable phone range.

How to Install New Firmware

The update is currently available to users in India and will expand further in the coming days. Samsung Galaxy M14 and Galaxy M16 users who have not yet received a notification can manually check for the update through Settings > Software update > Download and install.
