After the Galaxy M56 and Galaxy A56, Samsung has begun rolling out a new February 2026 firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy M55 smartphone in India. The latest update aims to enhance system stability with improved protection and includes the latest Android security patch.

It comes with firmware version M556BXXS5CZB4 and has a file size of 423MB. The update is based on One UI 8 software. The device is also eligible for the One UI 8.5 software update and is expected to receive it in the first half of this year.

What’s New in the Firmware

The new firmware integrates the February 2026 security patch, which fixes 37 high-level and several minor known vulnerabilities affecting Android devices. The changelog only mentions that improved security has been applied, so users are advised to update their Galaxy M55 for a better layer of protection.

How to Download It
