Samsung has started working on the March 2026 security update for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra smartphones. The new firmware S918NKSU7FZC3 has been spotted on the Samsung test server in South Korea. After the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S25, and Galaxy S26 series, it is the next S-series phone expected to receive the newest firmware version soon.
Galaxy S23 March 2026 Patch
The last number in the firmware code suggests that Samsung has just started testing a new version for the Galaxy S23 series, and there might be more tests before it goes live. With the new patch, Samsung will fix 65 security vulnerabilities, including 8 critical issues. It could take some time for the company to release it in various regions.

Eligible for One UI 8.5 Version
The Galaxy S23 series was launched in 2023 as a flagship model, and since then, it has been regularly receiving monthly security patches. This month will continue that trend. It is also eligible to receive the next major One UI 8.5 software update with some new features and changes.
New Galaxy AI Features
With the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung has introduced many new Galaxy AI features, and some of them will come to the Galaxy S25 series. Additionally, the Galaxy S23 series will also receive some new Galaxy AI features, and Samsung is expected to announce them soon.
Galaxy S23 March 2026 Security Update Release Date
The update is expected to be distributed in the second half of this month in South Korea, and later in other countries. Galaxy S23 users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and Install on their device.
