Samsung has finally announced via the Members app to open the One UI 8.5 beta testing program for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 FE, and Galaxy S25 FE smartphones, with early access to Galaxy S26 Ultra features. Last week, firmware related to the beta for these devices was spotted, and now Samsung has made it official.
Users in the UK, India, and South Korea can participate and download the beta version. Additionally, the US, Germany, and other regions will also join soon.
Galaxy S24, S24 FE & S25 FE One UI 8.5 Beta Details
The latest beta firmware for the Galaxy S24 series is S928BXXU5ZZCD, and it is quite large, 4.4GB to download. The Galaxy S24 FE gets S721BXXUAZZCD, and the Galaxy S25 FE receives S731BXXUAZZCD firmware version.

Make sure you have enough space on your smartphone before downloading it. Also, keep in mind that this is the first beta version, so you may encounter various bugs and lags in the software.
One UI 8.5 Beta Features
With the new One UI 8.5 software, Samsung has introduced a few new features, updated the interface, and enhanced security on Galaxy devices. The Galaxy S24, S24 FE & S25 FE series will also receive some Galaxy S26 Ultra features like Horizontal Lock and Document Scan, along with other improvements.
How to Join One UI 8.5 Beta Program
To join the beta program, visit the Samsung Members app and tap on the official banner. Then, you can sign up for the program and download the new firmware on your device to test it and provide feedback.
Along with the Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, and S25 FE, Samsung has released the eighth beta version for the Galaxy S25 series and the second beta updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 devices. All these beta firmware releases indicate that Samsung is gearing up for the stable One UI 8.5 release.
