Three major foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and TriFold, are now receiving the April 2026 security update. It is currently rolling out in South Korea, and users can identify it with the firmware version F966NKSS9AZCS for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and F766NKSS8AZCS for the Flip 7. The first-generation Galaxy TriFold has received the F968NKSS4AZCS version with this April update.

In Android’s April 2026 security update, Samsung has aimed to optimize the code, stabilize performance, and improve privacy. The changelog does not mention any new features, which are expected to arrive with the upcoming One UI 8.5 update. All these devices are likely to receive a stable One UI update in the next few weeks, and Samsung has further confirmed Call Screening and a couple of other Galaxy AI features for these foldables.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 April 2026 update, along with the Flip 7 and TriFold, is currently rolling out in Samsung’s home country. In the coming days, users can expect it to reach other regions, including India and the US. To install the new version, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
