Samsung is now releasing the March 2026 security update for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 devices. The latest firmware is available to install in South Korea, with an eye on a global release in the coming days. The firmware version for the Galaxy S25 series is S938NKSS8BZC1, and it is 563MB in size.
The firmware version for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is F966NKSS8AZC1, and it comes in a 551MB package. The clamshell phone, Galaxy Z Flip 7, gets the new F766NKSS8AZC1 software in a 538MB file size. The new software has been released to improve the overall security of the devices and enhance the daily user experience.
March 2026 Firmware Update

As Samsung officially mentioned in the security bulletin, the latest update removes 65 vulnerabilities from the previous code. It also addresses 8 critical, 5 high-level, and 52 other security flaws from the February code. Apart from that, users can witness better battery optimization and minor improvements in the software.
One UI 8.5 Beta Update
This March 2026 software is not for beta testing users. All these smartphones are part of the One UI 8.5 beta, but these users will receive another file with the March version. Now, it has been released for non-beta users in South Korea. The next beta version could also be released soon, as we have spotted a new beta build on Samsung’s test server.
To install the March 2026 patch on the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7, go to Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
