Samsung has started rolling out a new April 2026 security update for the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge devices. The new firmware version S938NKSSBZCH has been released in South Korea with improved security and privacy. It is based on the One UI 8 update and is available for non-beta users, so we can expect the next beta version to carry the April update for beta users.
The update includes the April 2026 Android security patch, addressing several high and medium-risk vulnerabilities. While the last update fixed 65 bugs, Samsung has yet to mention which vulnerabilities have been removed from the code, although we can expect a better user experience and improved system stability.

The new Galaxy S25 April 2026 patch is now available to install in South Korea. It will soon reach other countries within the next 4 to 7 days, depending on the region. Galaxy S25 series users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. After Galaxy S26 Ultra, it is the next device to receive Samsung’s new April security update.
