Samsung has started rolling out a new fifth One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus & S25 Ultra smartphones. It is rolling out in the US, South Korea, the UK, and Germany. Further, Indian users are getting the fourth beta version with the same changelog. The latest beta firmware focuses on improving system security and overall stability, with no major feature changes included.
The new firmware version is S938BXXU7ZZAN, and it comes in a 553MB file size. The latest update carries the February 2026 Android security patch, addressing several high- and medium-risk vulnerabilities. While Samsung has not shared a detailed changelog, it addresses minor bugs identified in the fourth beta build.

The rollout appears to be happening in phases, meaning some users may receive the beta update earlier than others, depending on their region and carrier. Galaxy S25 users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings → Software update → Download and install.
Samsung will unveil Galaxy S26 series smartphones on February 25, where it is expected to release the first stable One UI 8.5 version.
