Samsung has begun rolling out a new February security firmware update for the Galaxy S25 series, including the S25 Edge and S25 FE, in South Korea. It is being released to non-beta users, as beta users have already received it with the fifth beta version. The new firmware version S938NKSS8BZB2 has been deployed with a 541MB package.
The update fixes known issues and vulnerabilities that were discovered by Google in the previous January software version. Although it is a minor update, it could be the last security patch before the major One UI 8.5 release. As usual, Samsung has not shared a detailed changelog, but such updates typically improve overall reliability and background performance.

Changelog Details:

The rollout is happening in phases, so not all users may receive the update at the same time. Galaxy S25 series owners can manually check for the update by heading to Settings → Software update → Download and install. It is available for Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, S25 FE, and S25 Edge smartphone users.
This week, Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S26 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event, where it is expected to unveil the stable One UI 8.5 software, which may roll out to older Galaxy devices next month.
