We apologize once again for the inconvenience. Until we provide the latest software update, we recommend that you back up your important data separately and always maintain and manage the latest software version.

The problem appears to impact how the Virtual Aperture behaves when using the telephoto lens, with users reporting inconsistent focus and unexpected results in certain shooting scenarios. Samsung has now clarified that a fix is in progress and will be delivered through a future software update. Specifically, the company plans to address the issue with the upcoming One UI 8.5 update for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.

When will Virtual Aperture Fix come to Galaxy S25?

Virtual Aperture features were first introduced on Galaxy S26, and now it is being released for other Galaxy devices in One UI 8.5 beta updates. Point to be noted, this issue has arrived after the latest One UI 8.5 beta and Expert RAW app update 5.0.08.2, so it may take some time for the company to release the fix. Also, the Camera Manager didn’t mention the beta version, so he may have hinted about the fix in the stable One UI 8.5 software update.
