In the next and maybe final phase, Samsung has added a couple of more Galaxy devices to the One UI 8.5 beta program. Samsung has released the One UI 8.5 beta update for Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones. As promised last month, Samsung has now covered all of its major Galaxy devices in the beta testing program. All these users can now access Samsung’s latest One UI 8.5 features, which have launched with the Galaxy S26 series.
One UI 8.5 Beta for More Galaxy Devices
The new beta firmware update is now live in South Korea and India, and soon, the US, Germany, and the UK will also receive it. To join the One UI 8.5 beta program, users should visit the Samsung Members app on an eligible phone. In the Members app, there is an official banner to join the beta program. Now, click on the banner and sign up for the program.

How to Install Beta Version
To install the new version, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Here, download the beta version on your device. Users can access early features of the new software before anyone else, though they might face some bugs and software issues. In such cases, you should share feedback with the developer team so they can fix the issues and deliver improved firmware.
One UI 8.5 Beta Features
Among the early features, users can use an AirDrop-like feature to share files with iPhone users. There are also design changes and some new settings for easier navigation. Samsung has also introduced new Galaxy AI functions to older models, though not all features will be available on every model.
Stable One UI 8.5 Release Date
Samsung is expected to release the stable One UI 8.5 software at the end of this month, and the Galaxy S25 series will be the first to receive it. The timeline for these beta devices could be longer than expected, and some of them might receive the stable version at the end of May or early June.
