Samsung has finally released the latest April 2026 security patch for the Galaxy A57 smartphone, bringing it to the newest security level from the older January patch. It is the second seamless update for the device. The latest firmware version, A576BXXS2AZD4, is now rolling out for the Galaxy A57 in India. It is based on One UI 8.5 software and comes with a file size of 395MB. The Galaxy A57 is among the few devices currently running on the major One UI 8.5 software version

When it launched in the market, it came with the older January 2026 security patch, but that was an early version released before the device reached users. This means the new April 2026 security patch is the first update since its launch in various markets. The focus of the new firmware is to stabilize system performance by fixing known bugs. The changelog only mentions that it has enhanced the security of the Galaxy A57 to protect it from unwanted vulnerabilities.

What Changes April 2026 Update Brings?

However, Samsung does not share a detailed changelog. The Samsung Security Bulletin mentions fixes for 47 vulnerabilities, including 14 critical security flaws from the previous software version. Out of these, 33 fixes come from Google, while the remaining fixes come from Samsung itself.
