In the rush of the One UI 8.5 stable update, Samsung has released the May 2026 security patch for the older Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone. The new firmware version, F721NKSS8IZE2, is a 440MB file. It is currently rolling out in South Korea and will soon be available in other countries.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4, along with the Fold 4, is eligible to receive the major One UI 8.5 update. This week, Samsung released the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S23, Fold 5, and Flip 5 devices, so it may roll out for the Flip 4 and other older models next week.
