Just days before the Galaxy S26 launch event, Samsung has officially confirmed that another One UI 8.5 beta update is coming for the Galaxy S25 series. In response to users’ questions, the company mentioned that the next beta version will focus on fixing known bugs and optimizing system performance.
Earlier this week, Samsung’s firmware test servers already showed signs of the sixth beta software with code ZZB7, and now an official representative has confirmed it.
Samsung Confirms Sixth Beta
Here is the official response from a Samsung representative, shared by a user on the Samsung Community forum:
“We plan to improve the problem you reported. Please check again in the version to be distributed later.”
The user who shared this information cropped the image, so the full details are not visible. However, the user stated that he asked about issues in the software and received this reply, which suggests that the problems he is facing in the current version will be resolved in the next update, which could be released early next month in South Korea, the US, and other countries.
When will Sixth Beta Be Released?

Last week, the Galaxy S25 series received the fifth One UI 8.5 beta with many improvements and enhanced app support. The gap between the fourth and fifth beta versions was nearly a month, leading users to believe it might be the final beta before the stable release. Now, the new firmware spotted on the test server, along with Samsung’s response, indicates that the sixth beta is on the way.
Samsung appears to be fixing remaining issues before announcing the official release. On February 25, the company will launch the next-generation Galaxy S26 series, and during the same event, we may see the stable version of the new software. It is also expected that Samsung will announce the official rollout timeline for the One UI 8.5 firmware for eligible Galaxy devices.
