Just days after launching the Galaxy S26 Ultra with One UI 8.5, Samsung has pushed a new One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series. I covered it yesterday and talked about the Beta 6 release date. The sixth beta, carrying the ZZAO firmware and weighing around 600MB, is now rolling out in Germany, South Korea, the US, and India.
Note that in India, it is the fifth beta version but with the same changelog. The sixth beta version comes with many fixes and improvements to the device. Samsung is heading toward the stable rollout of this version, so it is trying to minimize all bugs to stabilize performance.
Changelog Details:

- Fixed an issue with the Bixby > Labs > Create wake-up phrase feature.
- Fixed an issue where two “View Previous Image” buttons appeared when using the sketch conversion feature in Gallery.
- Fixed issues with text, icons, and AOD visibility in Now Bar/Now Brief recommendation cards.
- Fixed a force close issue when changing the camera area settings in Settings > Display.
- Fixed an issue where the lock screen style in Basic mode was changed in Modes and Routines.
- Improved animations related to notification cards.
To update to the One UI 8.5 beta 6 on your Galaxy S25 series, go to Settings and check for updates. Samsung has officially stated that the stable rollout will start in March, so it could be the last beta software for the device.
