Update: More countries are now getting the first update of the Galaxy S26 series. As per the new information, the users in India, Thailand, the UAE, and some European countries are receiving the February 2026 security patch. The firmware version dispatched in these countries is the same as that received in South Korea. In the coming day, it will be released in the US and some other countries, so check your device for a new update.
Samsung has started rolling out the February 2026 security update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra devices. It is the first software update for the Galaxy S26 series since its launch at the end of February. In a surprise move, Samsung has released the February patch for the device instead of the March 2026 security update.
Galaxy S26 February Patch
The latest firmware version is S948NKSS1AZC7, and it is 557MB in size. The official changelog only mentions improvements to device security and system reliability, without introducing any new features. Also note that it is the only device in the market currently running the One UI 8.5 stable version.

March 2026 Update in Testing
According to the Samsung test server, the March 2026 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ & Galaxy S26 Ultra series is already under testing, so the new firmware could be in line to roll out in the next few weeks.
