Samsung is now releasing the One UI 8.5 Beta 7 update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones. The seventh installment of the beta version addresses several issues found in the sixth beta version and further improves the overall user experience to reach a stable version soon.
The new firmware version S938NKSU8ZZC7 has been released with the February 2026 security patch. The new seventh One UI 8.5 beta software is currently rolling out in South Korea and Germany. It will soon be released in the US, UK, and India, so check your device for the latest beta update.

Here is the detailed changelog for One UI 8.5 Beta 7:
- Improved an error that caused a call to switch to a video call during a voice call.
- Fixed an issue where the GMS app color palette was not applied to the work/security folder.
- Improved the visibility of the Gmail search input field in dark mode.
- Fixed a forced termination issue when running a new Gallery project.
- Fixed an issue where exporting photos from private Gallery albums failed.
- Fixed an issue where toast pop-ups did not appear in overheating situations while connected to DeX.
- Fixed an issue where Fahrenheit temperature information was cut off after adding a city list in the Weather widget.
- Fixed a one-time Wi-Fi recovery issue that occurred during Wi-Fi roaming scans with APs that support MBSSID (Multiple BSSID).
- Fixed stuttering and freezing when first entering the unread message box in Samsung Messages.
- Fixed an issue where notifications were not displayed under certain conditions.
According to newly discovered firmware on the Samsung test server, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also join the One UI 8.5 beta program. However, it may take some more time for Samsung to release the stable One UI 8.5 version for the Galaxy S25 series. Galaxy S26 series is the only lineup that is currently running on a stable update.
