Samsung has started rolling out a new March 2026 security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones. The latest firmware version, S928NKSS5CZC1, with a file size of 432MB, focuses on improving system security and overall stability, although no major feature changes are included.
The update carries the March 2026 Android security patch, addressing several high- and medium-risk vulnerabilities. According to the Samsung March 2026 bulletin, the company has addressed 65 vulnerabilities in its code, including 8 critical flaws and 5 high-level risks. With this version, users are expected to see improved security and an enhanced UI experience.

One UI 8.5 Beta Update
While the current March update does not include any major changes, the next one could be the Samsung One UI 8.5 beta update. On Samsungâs internal test server, a new build number assigned to the Galaxy S24 Ultra beta firmware has been spotted, suggesting that Samsung could soon open the beta program for the Galaxy S24 series.
