Galaxy S23 One UI 8.5 Beta 2 Update
Users in the beta testing program had complained about a green line while recording video in 4K HDR mode. The green line issue was first spotted on the Galaxy S25 series, and later, Galaxy S24 series users also mentioned the bug. Now, after fixing the issue on newer models, Samsung has finally brought the fix to Galaxy S23, S23+ & S23 Ultra devices.

Apart from that, the second One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S23 series has fixed Bluetooth crash issues. The Bluetooth not connecting and Bluetooth disconnecting issues will be solved with it, so users can connect their Galaxy Watch, earbuds, and other devices without any trouble.
Further, it fixes the call screen not being visible in certain cases, proximity-release behavior errors during calls, and multi-touch malfunctions after accessibility has been increased. Finally, to improve the overall quality of the device, Samsung has delivered the April 2026 security patch. The security patch for non-beta users was delivered earlier and fixed 47 vulnerabilities from the previous update.
The new beta version for Galaxy S23 is now available in India and South Korea, and we can expect other countries to get it soon. Samsung is expected to release the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series in the first week of May. For the Galaxy S23, it may receive a few more beta updates before getting the stable version.
