Garmin Rolls Out New Beta 22.32 Update for Fenix 8 and Enduro 3

Garmin Fenix 8 Software Update

Garmin has released a new beta update for several of its premium smartwatches, including the Garmin Fenix 8 AMOLED, Garmin Fenix 8 Solar, Garmin Fenix 8 Pro AMOLED, Garmin Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED, Garmin Fenix E, Garmin Quatix 8, and Garmin Enduro 3. The company has now started rolling out beta version 22.32 to users enrolled in its public beta testing program. The latest beta release arrives shortly after version 22.29, which mainly focused on fixing a large number of bugs and improving overall system stability across supported devices.

With version 22.32, Garmin continues refining the software experience with a few more fixes and quality-of-life improvements. According to the official changelog, Garmin has improved the responsiveness of touchscreen-based volume controls. Users should now notice smoother and quicker adjustments while changing audio volume directly from the display.

The update also fixes an issue related to multisport workouts. Some users previously reported that their watches could freeze or unexpectedly restart during multisport activities. Garmin says this problem has now been resolved in the new beta build.

Another important fix addresses random reset issues affecting some devices. While Garmin did not provide detailed information about the cause, the company notes that the watches should now behave more reliably during regular use.

Garmin has also made a small but useful improvement to the Nutrition Glance feature on the Fenix 8 series. Previously, users could only log the hour when entering meal times. After installing beta version 22.32, users can now specify both the hour and minute for more accurate meal tracking.

In addition to these changes, Garmin says it has updated translations within the software. However, the company has not confirmed which languages were improved in this release.

The beta version 22.32 update is now rolling out to all eligible beta testers using supported Fenix 8, Fenix E, Quatix 8, and Enduro 3 smartwatches. As usual with Garmin beta software, some features remain disabled during testing. The company specifically notes that ECG and Dive functionalities are currently unavailable in this beta build.

When, on the other hand, Coros & Galaxy Watches are not getting regular updates, Garmin is improving its watches with new software every month. Users enrolled in Garmin’s beta program can check for the update directly from their smartwatch settings menu.
