Samsung has started testing the March 2026 security update for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra smartphones. The new firmware build S938BXXS8BZC1 has been spotted on the Samsung test server in India. It shows Samsung’s commitment to keeping its flagship devices updated with the latest monthly security patches.
Galaxy S25 March 2026 Update
Along with the March 2026 security patch, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is also expected to receive the One UI 8.5 Beta 7 version, which could launch in the coming days. The device is expected to receive the stable version later this month for beta users and then for all remaining users.

What’s New in the March Version
For the month of March, Samsung has fixed 65 vulnerabilities in its code. Google addressed 60 Android-related CVEs, while 5 were fixed by Samsung. Among these vulnerabilities, 8 were labeled critical, 52 high-level, and 3 moderate.
Secure Folder & Samsung Keyboard Related Issues
Some other issues discovered by users in recent firmware versions will also be addressed by the company, as confirmed by a Samsung manager on the Samsung Community South Korea forum. The March update is expected to fix the Secure Folder and Samsung Keyboard text editing issues.
Timeline for March 2026 Update
There is no official timeline for the March 2026 security update, but it is expected to roll out this week in South Korea and India. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy S26 series have also been spotted with a new security patch, so this week could be very busy for the company.
