Yesterday, a Samsung moderator created a lot of confusion with a statement about the Call Screening feature for previous models. Today, in a clarification, the Call Manager at Samsung Community South Korea mentioned that the Call Screening feature will not come to older models, including the Galaxy S25 series. For now, it will be a Galaxy S26 exclusive feature, and later, with the One UI 8.5 version, it will be introduced to upcoming Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
The Call Manager has not given any specific reason behind the decision to lock it to its newest smartphones. The Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 7 are among the best-selling devices of 2025, and they are not even that old.
This decision by Samsung has left users speechless, and they are asking for solid proof behind it. Here is the official response from the Call Manager regarding the feature and clarification of the previous message:
Hello, customer.
Unfortunately, the S25 model does not support call screening.
We will strive to provide better service.

The Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Fold 7 are now in the One UI 8.5 beta testing program, but there is no sign of Galaxy S26 exclusive features. Samsung is expected to release some new features, including camera functions and Galaxy AI features, to older models in stable One UI 8.5 software.
