New April Firmware Build for Galaxy S25 Ultra

Galaxy S25 April 2026 update spotted on Samsung’s internal test server is S938NKSS9BZCG, which has been upgraded from the current ‘BZC1’ firmware version. The last letter has changed from ‘1’ to ‘G,’ indicating that Samsung has moved on from the previous version and is now working on the next one, which is the April patch.

Galaxy S25 April 2026 Update

The company is developing the next patch, but that doesn’t mean it is the final test build. Before the actual release, Samsung will likely test the device a few more times to ensure a stable rollout. Also, in the first week of April, it will publish the official Security Bulletin on its website, where we will learn what changes have been made and which bugs have been fixed.

What to Expect in the April 2026 Security Patch

While Samsung has yet to announce the official Security Bulletin for the April firmware, it is expected to mark the beginning of the stable One UI 8.5 version. According to various sources and new firmware builds on the CheckFirm page, Samsung appears close to releasing a stable version for the Galaxy S25 series.

Currently, the Galaxy S25 has received the 8th beta version, and if everything goes according to Samsung’s plan, we could soon see the final or stable release.

When Will We Receive the April Patch on Galaxy S25?

There is no confirmed timeline for Samsung’s April 2026 security patch, and it will vary by country and carrier. For the February and March 2026 patches, Samsung took longer than expected due to the busy schedule surrounding the Galaxy S26 launch event. However, with the April 2026 security patch, Samsung may avoid further delays and release it earlier rather than pushing it to the end of the month.
