Citymapper App Now Available on Galaxy Watch 8 With Navigation Features

Citymapper on Galaxy Watch 8 Classic

The popular navigation app Citymapper is now available on the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, bringing full public transport navigation and real-time route planning directly to your wrist. It includes the world’s most important cities with GPS and a turn-by-turn navigation system. It will help you find the best route in a new city. You can plan your journey and get navigation for bus, train, cycle, car, or walking. It is also one of the best alternative apps to Google Maps in supported cities.

The Citymapper app on the smartwatch provides real-time data to help you beat the crowd, get information about known places, and stay connected in unfamiliar cities. It also offers an offline mode on Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 5, Watch 6, Watch 7, Watch Ultra, Watch 8, and Watch 8 Classic, allowing you to save routes for later journeys.

It supports major cities

Major cities include London, New York, Paris, Berlin, Singapore, Chicago, Rome, Dublin, Madrid, Manchester, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, and many more are included in the supported cities list. The Citymapper app also adds new cities with every update, so there is a chance it could also come to India and other major countries.

How to Download the Citymapper App

You can now install the official app from the Play Store for your Samsung smartwatch. It is a strong alternative to Google Maps for your watch. With upcoming updates, developers may add more useful features for users. For example, in a recent update, it added a one-stop-shop mobility feature to compare cab fares, shared rides, and more options. This makes it much easier to navigate unfamiliar cities without relying on your phone. If the app expands to more cities or regions, I will update you.
